During our meeting we talked about the first 80 pages of our book The Walking Dead. One main topic that continued to reoccur in the book is survival of the fittest. One strong example, of this is when you find out that Rick the main characters family left him in a hospital because he was in a coma. The reason they left Rick at the hospital is because he would not have been able to survive in a zombie apocalypse. The Second major thing we talked about is how much different the book is from the television show. One thing that really showed this is when in the television show Rick gets trapped in a tank but in the book he does not even go in a tank. Another example is how there are characters that are in the book that are not in the show one example is Darrel and his Brother. Overall we had a good discussion today and got done with everything we need to. We are also reading the the 80 pages for our next book discussion.
